I am Certified Dietary Manager.   I am  two semesters away from completing a BS in Dietetics from Kansas State University via their distance learning program.   In the mean time I have obtained my credentialing for CDM/FPP.

 

I have worked in support services such as Food and Environmental, as a Food Service Director, an EVS manager and an Operations Manager of Food and Nutrition.  My current position is in a small rural acute care county hospital/clinic.  Everyday is a new learning experience for me

Please understand that I am not as far on my journey as are many others. We were business owners for many years and when my husband became ill, I had to make some tough decisions to move on in a more independent fashion, so I could adequately take care of us as we grow older.  The information in my portfolio is an ongoing process so more information will be added as I go along.
